What is the life expectancy of a log burner?

That said, when you do get into the nitty gritty of just how long a modern log burner will last, the answer is very much dependent on a variety of factors.

Factors that affect longevity

So while antique stoves can be charming, they’re more of a design statement unless you’re in a non-restricted area and willing to put in the work to make them compliant.
